First, the notion of a “six-figure” business… The magical number, the one we think is gonna solve all our problems, and get us on the beach 24/7. Not exactly.
Very often, the gooroos who say they may six-figures actually make it in turnover but don’t tell you what they spend on ads… That’s the real trick. You can spend 70 000 on ads and make 100 000. Yes, it’s a 6-figure turnover, and it is a profit so kudos, but it’s not exactly the dream lifestyle just yet.
Then you have the people who really make multiple 6 figures. Well again, I say kudos and well done of course BUT when these people start something new, they call it a new business…
And naturally, the new business blows up quite fast because they already had an audience to begin with. They may not even spend a penny on ads but when you already have an active audience that loves you, it’s easier to take something from scratch to profits…
And you know what, they deserve that because building an audience of raving fans is what counts. It’s what requires consistency of effort so it’s highly commendable. However, they’re not disclosing the whole truth when they tell you they started from scratch 3 months ago.
I have yet to see someone start from complete scratch, with no audience, no testimonial, and no money to spend on ads pull this amount in 3 months. Personally, never seen it. Maybe someday I will, but I doubt it.
Yet that shouldn’t put your hopes down. It should actually get your hopes up because so many people think they’re doing so poorly because they have a tiny audience and they’re not selling much when in fact they’re doing great. They’re at a stage where it’s a bit harder because of the lack of momentum, that’s all.
But of course, because they’re bombarded with messages from people who do better than that, they end up self sabotaging because they see themselves as failures…
Well, that’s why I wanted to give a webinar on rewiring your brain for success, which you can register for below:
